Meet The Filmmaker #3: Princess Bento Visit MIAF

Based in Melbourne, Princess Bento is one of Australia’s most successful animation studios. Their rise-and-rise has been remarkable. In the short time since their inception, they have produced a wide range of adult animated series, including “Koala Man” (20th Television Animation & HULU), “Universal Basic Guys” (FOX & Sony Animation), and “Hazbin Hotel” (FOX, A24 and Amazon). Then there’s the two seasons of the incredible “Smiling Friends,” and three seasons of the hilarious “YOLO” (both: Adult Swim). An award winning short film called Beyond Measure, and an unannounced long form hand drawn series for Netflix. It’s a lot to take in but luckily we have a panel from Princess Bento dropping into MIAF to walk us through this incredible success story.
