Animating the Great Debate: Creativity and GenAI

AI is transforming animation. MIAF, Deakin and SIGGRAPH gather industry voices to explore the possibilities, risks and changes ahead.

AI is the topic of our moment in history – and will have an outsized role in writing the future chapters. It is already a force within the commercial and independent animation spaces, with the only certainty being that it will impact on the animation we make and watch. MIAF has teamed with Deakin University and SIGGRAPH (Melbourne) to bring together a diverse panel of industry and animation community participants to discuss these epoch-making shifts in the animation industry and explore the possibilities, the risks and the changes already unfolding.

Debate chaired by Martin Potter, Head of Motion Lab, Deakin.
