It’s hard to summarise the career of Phil Mulloy but this first presentation will have a crack, blending examples of Phil’s earlier films, recollections of what Phil would say about them and how they were made. Some of these are Phil at his rawest and most urgent, focusing his glare on useless or dangerous social norms with a kind of maniacal vigour akin to a sniper artist lobbing paint bombs down from atop the church tower.
