With so many amazing films in MIAF this year we don’t envy the challenge the judges face in deciding which films get the highest honours. After one of the longest deliberation sessions in MIAF’s history, here are the films they selected.
- Best Of The Fest for MIAF 2024 is “Lack” by Paweł Prewencki (Poland).
- Best Australian is “My Jumper, It Roars!” by Isabella Spagnolo
- Best Australian Student is “Shoot Me In The Grocery Line” by Yunlin Bai, Tori Huynh
Congratulations to Pawel, Isabella, and Yunlin & Tori, and of course to the full teams behind these films!
We’d like to also give a big thank you to everyone in the audience that voted for their favourites – as usual the audience awards included a couple of eclectic picks, and we love hearing about those films that went over even better than we expected.
