Melbourne filmmaker, Charby Ibrahim, has a remarkable eye for channelling the unique properties of animation to bring an extra dimension to his ever increasing catalogue of films and documentaries that all bring a fierce and focused eye to a range of social justice issues. Animating Life brings a thought provoking selection of these into the cinema and will give us a chance to meet Ibrahim, hear him discuss what powers him to create this work and how he marshals animation to amplify the messages that are woven into them.
