DESCRIPTION:\nPresented with support by\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTickets\n\n\n\n\nSOLD OUT\n\n\n\nIf you’ve been following MIAF for any length of time, you should know we have a soft spot for LoopdeLoop.\n\n\n\nThe monthly animation challenge has been around for well over ten years. In the last 2-3 years it has seen a big revival, especially in its hometown of Melbourne. There are free monthly screenings in Melbourne and Brisbane, with regular screenings in Sydney and Adelaide.\n\n\n\nThere are filmmakers from around the world and an active community encouraging each other. It is easy to see why this free-to-enter and free-to-attend animation challenge has inspired so many.\n\n\n\nOne of those inspired was Indonesian animator and filmmaker, Raihan “Ray” Maurizky. Last year, as part of a final assignment at Swinburne, he made a documentary about LoopdeLoop.
